Neville Southall said earlier this week that he feared for Chris Coleman’s job should his side fail to navigate the Scots.
“Personally I wouldn’t sack him, but if we lose there will be a lot of people queuing up to put the knife in,” said the former custodian. “We are really struggling to get people in the door and when you have a player like Gareth Bale I find that hard to understand.”

During his press conference on Tuesday, Chris Coleman stated that this was his strongest squad to date despite the likes of Wayne Hennessey, Steve Morrison, James Collins and Darcy Blake all missing, and to add insult to injury even Aaron Ramsey had to return to Arsenal early after suffering a calf strain in training.
